Our New Project in 2024 – Food Security for Rural Women Farmers in the Mwanza District, Tanzania
This project, with financial support from the Manitoba Council for
International Co-operation (MCIC), focuses on crop diversity, increased production and
improved post-harvest practices, while working with women to improve their community and
legal standing. About twenty women in each of three communities are involved in taking
training and sharing their concerns related to current agricultural and gender challenges. The
value of the project is about $10,000.
